Keep it under control
Only stake money you can afford to lose, set a budget before you start, and never chase losses. If you are on a losing streak, stop and take a break.
Know the warning signs
Gambling may be becoming a problem if you: spend more than you can afford, borrow or use bill money to bet, hide your betting from others, feel restless or irritable when not betting, or find yourself trying to win back losses.
Protect yourself
Set time and money limits, keep a log of what you spend, remove gambling apps when you need a break, and talk to someone you trust. If you need a pause, self-exclusion tools are offered by most licensed operators and regulators.
